    [h=1]Why some sites open in http//www.abc.com and some in http//abc.com, which is better? how to choose any of these url and what are advantages and issues involved in these url.[/h]

    If you have a site that is http//www.abc.com then it should open as http//www.abc.com not as http//abc.com.

    This issue is known as 301 redirect issue.
    If your site is having this issue then it must be corrected.
    The correct format is: if you type http//abc.com then it should redirect to http//www.abc.com
    From the aspects of SEO or better to says according to Google your site must open as http//www.abc.com not as http//abc.com

    If still you are facing problem in understanding my point then search for 301 redirect on google you will definitely get a precise information.

    www or non www does not matter much . but do not use them as separate domain . either redirect www to non www or redirect non www to www .

    use any one as a main domain but do not forget to redirect

    You should use either one of the URL. Either choose with www or without www. This problem is know as canonical issues. You can solve this by using 301 redirect for your site. And also by using canonical tag in meta tags of the site for your preferred URL.

    Google now considers www and non-www the same site and indexes it as such. Using www is old fashioned and not necessary in the modern world since the World Wide Web and the internet are pretty much known as the same thing.

    Thats not a big deal. You can use any of them and redirect another to first one. However, most people (generally those who are not internet savvy and use it occasionally) are addicted to use www. so most webmaster goes with that. But the main point is your site should be accessible with both the urls.

    Hi,

    Now question coming up that If i have all the keywords up & domain is redirecting without WWW & now suggest me should i go for 301 redirect. Any feedback would be appreciated!

    If you have; then please share the link because till now I was only knowing that site with www. and without www. are two different site if they are not redirected.
