Choosing the Best Wordpress Theme for a Minimalist Website

Thanks to anyone who can offer some help. Most people want many features and gadgets and effects and links on their website, I want the fewest possible! I am not selling things, just offering important information to my visitors.
Website should be responsive

I want to create a simple home page theme that has just the fewest components:
(1) A header image (Shows what the website is about)
(2) About 10 small images on a colored background below the featured image that are links to individual pages.
(3) body of Home Page has a fixed color background(Desired but not required)
(4) No other extraneous info displayed:
I don’t want visitors to view on my Home Page:
(a) links to social sites or any other sites.
(b) No Search
(c) No Footers
(d) No Sidebars
(e) No Black Bar displayed overlayed on top of header image.
(f) No icons or Section Labels (such as Home Page, Posts etc.)
(g) No Contact us
(h) No posts by visitors.
(i) No sliders or other effects.
(j) No “About Us”
(k) No gallery
(l) No Section Titles showing in my Header (such as HOME PAGE, etc.)
(m) No Menus
(n) Or anything else that cannot be cannot somehow be completely removed.

So far I have downloaded Twenty-Seventeen, Imagined, and many others, and all offer effects and features not needed nor wanted and seem difficult to simplify and turn off unwanted features.

Hello, with custom templates it's very hard to achieve something you want or don't want if you can't disable it or enable it, however having an idea like what you need in your website all you would have to do is to get it on paper or something like Sketch or PS and start building the HTML and styling it with CSS.

By the looks of it it seems like a very simple website which can be done with basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and maybe Bootstrap to make it even easier to lay out.

 

How can custom any theme once you starting using it.
