    1. Use Google Keyword Tool, find keywords which has local search count between 1000-10.000 and exact phrase count below 100.000

    2. Make a list of your selected keywords.

    3. Use this query in Google:

    inanchor:"your keywords" intitle:"your keywords" inurl:"your keywords"
    Code (markup):
Make sure that the result is below 30

    :)

You want to find a right keyword for your website or a list of keywords that you would want your website to feature in the Search Engine listings??

Well if it is the second one then the first thing you should do is to ask yourself 4 questions.

    1) My Product
    2) My Targeted Consumers
    3) My Basic objective of conducting an SEO exercise
    4) If I am offering multiple products/services

Once you answer them to your selves choose your most important landing pages that you would want a visitor to review. Put in all the content that you can for the kind of keywords that you would want to target through these pages. Go to the Adwords keyword tool & select individual pages to get the keyword suggestions. Select keywords that have a high global search volume. Two things:

Either select keywords based on content present in the website or,
Create content based on the kind of keywords that you would want to target.

The best way to choose keywords for your site is to think about what prospective customers would type in if they were looking for your product or service.
