Does anyone place much value in the reported EPC (3 month or 7 day) when choosing which links to place on your pages? I see that in many cases the 88x31 micro banners are often at or near the top of the list. Is this because they actually earn better than bigger banners or is it simply that larger publishers place these on the sides of their high traffic sites? Thus getting lots of clicks. But then EPC means 'earnings per click' so that should not matter. Its network wide data, big sites and small sites. Good marketers and bad marketers. Right? And the those with a N/A EPC. Either they are new ads and do not have enough data yet, or they are just plain crap and dont convert. Who has some good advice on selecting copy from the advertisers?
