Hi all, I am interested in developing a domain name for a telecommunications company. All the good ones seems to be taken. Any suggestions?
There are 2 main possibilities here. 1. Go with the brand. (If the company is established and well-known) 2. Go with the services. (If the company is new or not that well-known) If you're going with a brand domain like. StarTelecom or whatever your company's name would be, you have a bit more chances to find the name available. Unfortunately, you'll loose the keyword(s) in your domain name. The second option is recommended when your company is not established, as people won't type in your name, but look for a specific service, and when your name pops up in the list, you might attract that visitor. I know many of the people asking for help won't share more details, as name of the company or stuff like that, which is ok (more secure). But really, you can't expect to receive a proper domain name suggestion based on this: "telecommunications company" or to find a free generic name in Telecom or IT area.
