I've done some kw research and also bought a list of the top paying kw's. I don't have time to create and rank numerous sites for adsense so I wanted to try and pick the best niche for 1 site and work on it. The possible niches I would choose from would be: Lemon Law (lawyers) by state Merchant Accounts (for online retail) Cosmetic surgery by state/region Student Loans Car Donations by state/region If anyone has any experience in choosing between niches can you tell me which you recommend from the above list? I want to take into consideration the CPC and the ease or difficulty of getting visitors to the site. Thank you.
Thank you for the reply but I was planning on creating the sites myself so I wanted help choosing between the above niches I have researched.
Gov`t sponsored Student loan interest rates are going down next year too, this could perhaps stir a new boom in applications or conversely, since there is a lower interest rates the companies decide to do less advertising online... Honestly, i think anything "credit" related, in the long term, is a bad idea. As the economy tightens (And it will) credit will be harder to get, so if you are using an affiliate program that pays per approval, you could see trouble. But this is still a year or 2 away.... so if you think you can capitalize before then, go for it.
Merchant Accounts is good choice, but I suggested create website where you really know what are you talking about, that should make your site a unique and have useful contents and when your visitor asking about the topics you can answer it,dont let your visitor go away.
There are a lot of affiliate schemes. Just write about things you like or are interested in, then find right affiliate for your site, not other way round.
And another reason for that is because you are going to be competing with all the other people out there trying to make a quick buck off adsense by creating some site of which there are already a thousand, nay, thousands, of others just like it. Do you know what your chances of raising to the top of the search results are with that much competition...pretty dang poor. Which is why so many people get disillusioned and give it up (which is actually a good thing lol) Create a site about that which you know, about that which you are interested in, and about that which you can contribute something new and unique...hmmm, unique content, what a novel idea.
It's easy to forget that the reason for high-paying keywords is that there is a lot of competition for those keywords. The site that you create for those keywords will compete in the search engines with many other sites for the same keywords, including the same sites that buy the Adwords ads. Therefore, if you want to do well with a site for high-paying keywords, you should have some unique strategy for getting traffic other than organic search results. Otherwise, the sites who are paying for those keywords and other related sites will easily eat your lunch. One strategy is to set up your own Adwords or Yahoo ad campaign and try to arbitrage a profit. You could set up ads for 3-word and 4-word keyword variations of the main keyword (because they are cheaper). For example, if your high-paying keyword was "auto insurance" you would set up an ad campaign for "cheap California auto insurance" or "best Florida auto insurance." Hopefully, the money you receive from Adsense will exceed the money you have to spend on your ad campaigns.
I'd advise your not make an MFA/spammy site with those niches. Those arw prime targets for the adsense ban hammers. Make a legit USEFUL site and you can aviod smartpricing/banning.
If you're doing cosmetic surgeries, Blog To Profit "likes" cosmetic surgery sites. So there are a lot of cosmetic surgery advertisers there, and you might meet some friends!
G’day mates, I’m new here but I’m not new to web surfing or online marketing. I have been online for almost twenty years, I started back in 1989 or so and back then the web was made-up of chat-rooms and BBS’s…A far cry from what it is today. Anyway when the net started to take off I created my first site mycanaries.com (don’t look for mycanaries.com as it’s offline as are just about all of my other sites, thanks to a scumbag host but that’s another story) with the aim of helping others learn about breeding and/or caring for these great little song birds, the canary. Now back then I knew nothing about SEO, adsense or the other “Must Have†items to have a high ranking website, I simply learnt HTML and started building my canary advice site with the aim of helping others and from the time I first published that site it could be found at # 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 on Google.com…depending on what search term was entered. The site grew to be a lot of work as I kept adding new pages…based on the questions I received from visitors. Then someone asked me on my forum if canaries could be tamed, I told the person that canaries, just like other birds and animals, could be hand tamed. That caused a lot of criticism as most people “thought†I was talking BS, so I picked-out a young canary and set out to record the steps I took to hand tame a canary, I then created an e-book with the pictures I had taken and offered the book for sale from my site and I sold a fair few copies. With “all†the other sites I created over the years (I own well over 40 domains) I have “never†attained the same Google ranking as I had with my first little HTML based canary help site. I have tried sites built with HTML, PHP, HTML and CSS, PHP with CSS and FLASH. I have tried creating sites around a blog and I have tried buying site templates. But nothing has ever come close to ranking on Google like my little HTML canary advice site! Why not? Becaus I became lazy and relied on other peoples templates and text! To wrap this up, I think you should take the advice of wiseshinobi, who states: Quote: For me I just write what I like to write about End Quote: That’s what I did with my little canary site, I got a truck load of free traffic and my site could always be found in the top spots on Google, Yahoo and the other SE’s. Once I started using other peoples templates and text on any of my sites, I found I was wasting my time and money. Sure the templates were good but they were not “mineâ€, they had no personality! There were many others using the same templates and text as I and we were all being penalised by the search engines. So do yourself a favor, if you go with a subject you know nothing about, do your research and learn all you can on the subject, if you just use a template and text that everyone else is using, you’ll be wasting your time and money! It costs money to buy "non exclusive" templates and articles...it cost a truckload of cash more if you have templates and text created for your use only (exclusive). Good luck with whatever you chose, Regards, Bill from Aus’
