It is much better to start off using a .com ... .net ... .org and then any other domain like .info com/net/org have performed best in my own personal experience. for domain search use proper tools ... my best one www.domize.com
Premium domains are simply common keyword terms that are either 1 or 2 words and typically embody the.Com extension. The extension is considered to be a TLD ( Top Level Domain ) and there are plenty of to select from, but to date.Com supercedes all. Its pretty well known that investing in a premium website name will generate a considerable amount of traffic
What about sites set up to optimize for multiple pages? Should I pick a common theme for the main domain name? Say I'm trying to optimize one page for BLUE and another page for RED. Would it make sense to have the domain name be COLORS.com? That way I'd end up with colors.com/Blue and colors/com/Red?
Always go for a .com whenever you can. You can use .info for a simple site, but anything that's going to have lots of content/traffic should be a .com
For some reason I always find .com better to rank than other extensions. There is also a matter of leaked traffic if you use any other extensions. Example crap.com which is parked, and you developed crap.net There will always say min 1% leaked to crap.com by default.
They're are theories that .info domain names look less professional and don't get as many CT (click throughs) when displayed in Google search queries etc, and this is where most Flash Gaming websites get there traffic. If you had the choice always go with a .com or .net name. Hope this helps you out!
Hello... COM is the best choose. Web browser will automatically add .com to complete our request, people will spell easy if you use .com, choose the more less domain 5 character or less.
I always try to go with either a .com or .net with an exact match for the keywords in the domain name. Also, some people seem to think that Google also gives a slight SERP boost for domains which are registered longer. I have no idea if this is true but it does stand to reason that if you purchase a domain for 3 years you might appear more credible that purchasing a domain for 1 year.
domain name extension doesnt effect much in SEO means, you can use any of them...though if .com is available for that specific domain name is still available then go for it, .com is popular and most people tend to type it than any other extensions
.com is preferred but if you can get that then the .net and .org are good for SEO, .info since they are cheaper are frowned upon, and they are a little harder to get ranked (unless you can get some high authority backlinks, but many choose the .info if all the others are gone)
