There are so many different ways you can cycle and soccer is restricted to social teams or serious teams.

cycling you can do on your own or with others
you can do it without disturbing other people
you can tootle about or ride strenuously
you can ride on the road, in forests, on paths

The only real bonus for soccer is that the costs are low.
