Choose Joomla: 1.0 or 1.5?

I'm going to use Joomla, but don't know the version I should use, 1.0 or 1.5; everybody can you tell me the version I should use.

why it is difficult for you to make decision about version. Latest version of any product is always better than previous versions.

 

1.5 is currently a "release candidate". If you can wait, I advise you do as there may still be many bugs and security flaws within it. If you cannot wait, try 1.0

 

I agree. Best thing is to install latest 1.0.13 version. This version has the most components/modules/mambots developed.

 

I've been using 1.0.X for about a year on three or four sites and it's been pretty solid.

 

no extensions work with 1.5, im personally going with the 1.0 version because i need all the extensions.

 

I would stay away from the RC and stick with what may be offered in you cpanel if you have one.

 

Joomla 1.5 is still in RC3 and very soon appear RC4. For Joomla 1.5 have very small quantity templates and Extensions (modules, plugins...). Joomla 1.0.13 is stable and many Extensions have been created compatible with this version CMS.
