Selling Chocolate Dessert Recipes Site

This site is a little over two years old. It was on page one for about a year, but slipped back due to lack of additional content or backlinks. The keywords have good searches, and low to minimum competition, so it will come back with some effort.

It is monetized with Amazon, adsense, and clickbank, and has 107 posts. Some of the posts have videos, some have adsense, and some have amazon.

Nice site design & layout, but I have failed to find any unique content, just videos & feeds from other sites, I am interested in the site concept but it really is no more than just a relatively cheap micro niche site?.

 

Hi Kevin, The site has 107 posts, which are a mix of recipes that are unique to the site, visitor comments about the site or the recipes on the site, and videos about making desserts. I probably should have just listed it as 107 posts, instead of 107 unique posts. My mistake which I fixed.

Hi Kevin, I really don't have any of those statistics. I have not paid much attention to that site for about a year. I had too many sites to manage, and had to abandon some of them. If you backlink the site it will come right back, because it is not a competitive market, and there are a lot of related search terms, with high exact search results, so it would be easy to add content. If you send me your email, I will give you a list of them. I priced the site low, because it is not ranking well, but it also has a unique exact match domain name. When it was on page one, which it was for quite a while, I was making about forty to fifty dollars a week. If I had put a little effort into it, I probably could have raised that to $100.00 a week.

I really don't have any of that available anymore. As I stated it has been a year since I have done much with this site. If it was still making money, I wouldn't be selling it for ninety dollars. I also feel the domain name is worth the price by itself, because you can't find them like that anymore. It is a very good site, with over 100 posts, and if you add some content and backlinks, it should do really well. You would have to do that even if it was making money, or it would fade away. If you want the site, I will do it for you for $75.00. I put a screen shot of my stats for 2011 below. I don't know how well it will show.

Hello, the website uses Google Analytics. I think you can get digitalpoint to display the data?

 

I just checked and the analytics is on the site, but it is not in the Google analytics site. I probably took it out last year, as I did with all my sites I cared about, because the thinking from marketers better than me, was and still is, that Google uses the information against you. Things like bounce rate, and visitor behavior are thought to affect your rankings. If the information was there, I would show you, because I am already admitting you need to do some seo, to make it profitable. But is is still getting some traffic, as noted by the site stats, because it has so many posts.
