Chnge of email address locked me out for 1 week!

    I'm pretty new to DP but for the last 3 weeks have really enjoyed the forum. Ive bought a few things, sold a few things and love checking to see if i've got new PM's every few hours.

    I changed my registered DP email address last week and clicked the validation link in the mail I received.

    I was then entered into a moderation queue and for the last week I've been unable to send / receive / view PM's or to post.

    This came at a time when I just sold a few things and was in the process of bidding on others. It was extremely frustrating to not be able to contact people I'd bought from or sold to during this time.

    I don't really see why a change of email address requires any moderation, but if it does, i think it would really be fair to warn members that until the moderator gets round to their checks, users will have very limited access.

    I agree. They'll most likely just approve everyone anyway, then again, banned users could be trying to sign up again and they're just checking IPs.
