CHITIKA VS AMAZON - so weird!

    Hi everyone.

I have been using Chikita for a while on my blogs but so far have had 0 sales.

On the other hand, I have been using Amazon direct links and an AStore and had many sales!

I use similar placement and color techniques for both and was wondering why one outsells the other? Same products, same prices...

Do you think it i because Amazon is a more trusted brand?

    Cheers,

I would agree with that statement. Amazon is much more trusted and a lot more people already have Amazon accounts rather than signing up for a new account with Chitika stores.

I thought chitika pays per click? Unless things have changed? Haven't used them in a while!

Chitika Malls does look like something that can be very big. Havent used them myself. I thought they were PPC .I will have to look into this.

For my hardware related website Amazon made 15$ eCPM in December. Now, it is 3x or 4x less, since it isn't gift season :(.
