Chitika keeps rejecting my application

I kept applying to Chitika and each time they will reject my application. Why?

same here with the eBay affiliate program! pisses me off...

 

have you tried e-mailing them so you'd know the root of the problem?

 

I'd say email them too - it could be numerous things:

1. the source of your traffic - they don't yet have advertisers for certain countries
2. not enough traffic
3. wrong topic - I'm not sure if they decide based upon topic but some topics definitely work better than others (ie product related sites do better than political or religious ones for example)

Ultimately - you can only apply and then go with what they decide. Might be time to look at other alternatives rather than keep applying.

I applied for chitika and got approved the very next day. Your site needs to get atleast 1,00,000 page views a month. They also have some categories. I did not put chitika ads on my site after I got to know that they filter out clicks from India and a few other Asian countries during traffic auditing as most of their advertisers are from US or UK.

 

my experience with them is they need you to have a lot of visitors a month...anything under 30,000 they will reject you.

 

I was so eager to join Chitika, when I finally got approved and placed ads on my web sites the performance was so poor that i removed 90% ads. Do not expect much from Chitika.

 

they actually use compete and alexa rank...increase both of them n u r in...
