    Good news!!

    The background color can now be changed. The option for that is now in the control. But if existing users want to hack the code, they can do use using a line like this:

    ch_color_bg = "#CCCCCC";

    Nice, I've been waiting for that - however atleast here in firefox it looks a bit weird around the images (some white space). Anyone who have IE and knows if it's the same?

    It is the same in both IE and Firefox.. There is a small white border around the entire ads.

    I am pretty happy about this addition though... Makes my ads look a lot better on some sites.

    That's good to hear. It sounds like Chitika are making real progress with their system, but they just need to make their stats better.

    CTR is typically lower than Adsense but CPC is higher for most. You can run Adsense and Chitika together so doing both will usually result in higher payouts overall.

    So far. I am satisfied with their payout. It is a lot more than Adsense. Perhaps you can try to put both in your website. Hope it helps. :)

    I've put together a pretty comprehensive collection of all the tips available on the various blogs/forums/etc. PLUS a fair few of my own here.

    Have I missed any?
