Our site received over 150k impression per day ( around 40k unique visitors with millions of pageviews per day) I signed up for Chitika and hopefully they will give me something like .10 or .20 per eCPM. After ran their ads for 1 month. Today I'm thinking to stop run their ads. On 12-23-2009, We have 80,000 impressions and total earning is 11 cents. What the heck? Aeverage earning from $1 to $4. Most around $2 Does anyone have same experiences? Thanks
chitika are a ppc ad network they don't pay per impression. They pay for clicks. So I think you should reconsider the placement of your ad for more clicks. Or else change to a real CPM ad network if your traffic is the sort that doesn't click on the ads. I myself use adbrite and they give me up to $0.30 eCPM for a 728*60 banner and you would probably get more. I have pretty poor traffic compared to you so you would get a higher cpm as you are delivering more ad impressions Hope this helped!
depends on where the traffic is from, UK and Us traffic pays moren then for example indian traffic. try to use more advertisers like googleadsene or adbrite.
