Chitika Banned 2 of my Domains WTF

Just got an email from Chitika saying account change for my Chitika account saying:

And two of my domains have been banned from adverts appearing on them.
Just to clarify the sites do not have any questionable content, illegal, adult or otherwise offensive content in any way on them.

Also the funny thing is I recently checked my Chitika earnings and these two domains were actually getting reasonable clicks (for Chitika anyway) of 0.10c - 0.25c rather than the usual 0.02c I get on most of the other domains I have Chitika on. Does this mean that they ban any domain that gets reasonable prices per click or what?

Switch over to prosperent (http://www.prosperent.com). We pay out larger commissions instead of a few cents per click like Chitika. You can also still use Chitika or even adsense as a Fall Back with our ads so they are shown when we don't have an ad for your site. You do need an invite code to join the beta. you can use: VE0XOSZZSTFY1Z

Let me know if you or anyone else has any questions.

Normally my Chitika revenue is nothing (compared to Adsense) literally just about $10 every 2 months or so.
Suddenly this last month I received about $25 for a single month.
Just when I thought Chitika was improving :) they go and do this and happen to ban the 2 best paying paying sites that I had :(

Emailed them earlier asking for a reason and they just emailed back saying:
So this sounds like Chitika and their Search partners ( whoever they are  ) get treated like gold but US their publishers get treated like cr@p and my 2 sites that were getting clicks of more than 2 cents get banned so the advertisers don't have to spend more than 2 cents a click.

This isn't a concern at all with Prosperent simply because we don't have to worry about click fraud. We pay out commissions when someone purchases a product from one of our ads, so we can afford to pay our publishers far more in terms of revenue. We have publishers that have earned as much as 700 dollars from a SINGLE click on one of our ads.

I got that same message about one of my two domains currently using Chitika that also included the following:

"You do NOT need to make any changes on your end - the Chitika ads on the above disallowed domains will no longer show going forward.

Both my banned domain and non-banned domain continue to show Chitika ads, but according to my reports impressions dropped 66% despite no significant drop in traffic. Chitika always has displayed relevant ads based on search engine queries and page content and today I noticed that both of my domains only show that list categories that links to search results for whatever is clicked on. This ad displays instead of three picture/link ads and would explain the traffic drop. I assumed at first that Chitika sent the email in error since the site has never experienced click fraud of any sort and thus could not pose a danger to advertisers, but I am not so sure anymore. I do know that they are implementing Chitika Select, so I will wait a few days before calling them just in case this is a system error.

Does Chitika Ban Based on Intangibles?

I know this sounds ridiculous, but I think Chitika may be basing approval on intangible factors related to page content. My website does not contain any adult or illegal content, but is an anonymous reporting site centered around and issue that most people disagree with. I think Chitika may be judging it based on meaningless words like "offensive", "morale", and "ethical". All of which are in the eye of the beholder, cannot be measured, and thus are intangible. Even if this is the case I don't see how it could hurt advertisers in any way since it always provides relevant and well formatted content that has a tendency of gaining significant traffic at random from journalists stirring up arguments. In closing I think Chitika employees may be blocking a well designed site with a good traffic rate based on their personal philosophical objections to its main purpose.

    Is Chitika Dying?

    My impressions dropped 99.9%

Although Chitika only makes me between 3 - 6% of my monthly income, it's still money, dude.

That picture looks very familiar to me. Same day on my end, impressions just went down to almost nothing.
Now I see some of my domain got rejected and some in "Pending Further Review". Here is what chitika saying:
Domain Approval Alert If your domain is listed as "Pending Further Review", this is because your domain no longer qualifies for Chitika | Premium. However, while it is under review, we will still show ads for a small amount of impressions.
My question: what qualification are for chitika premium? Why suddenly now, after year of being qualified?
I feel I was totally wrong about their honesty and good communication.

Looks eerily similar to my statistics as well, without warning. Worthless. They sure didn't have any problem publishing a testimonial of mine on their website though, you know, before kicking me to the curb.
