Chitika and Adsense

hey,

is it a violation if you have Chitika on the same page as you have the Google Ads on?

just I seen a few sites had Chitika and Google on the same page.

 

I think its fine. Though you should confirms with someone who know for sure. I am sure it is though.

 

Please ask google adsense, because nobody here is sure 100% to answer you that question.

Nothing sucks more then getting an email from google saying you got banned.

 

I have seen many people say it is allowed but only if you set chitika ads to non contextual. But maybe it has been changed by the new AdSense TOS so chitika could be allowed even if set to contextual

You can indeed run adsense and chitika on the same page. With latest TOS you can run chitika in contextual mode. Latest TOS also says you cannot run anything that LOOKS like adsense - like adster or adbrite (and YPN) - if you do use them you better make them look wayyyy diffferent. Chitika mini-malls do not look anything like adsense.

 

If the Chitika ads look different then yes.

 

So you could have any kind of ad system on your site but make them look different than AdSense?

 

i inquired bout this from google a month back and they say its allowed and chikita says the same ting
