Ok, I have adsense on my main pages and forum. I am considering replacing adsense on my forum with Chitika. I've read lots of stuff about adsense TOS not allowing another contextual advertiser at the same time. Is that on a per site basis or per page basis? i.e. Could I put Chitika in its contextual form on my forum, so it looks at the forum article to cue up relevant adverts. Or would I have to have it by specific keyword? Jon
I've heard that Chitika has better CPC payouts than Adsense. But not tried yet. As far as Google is concerned, I think it is totally legal to use Ads from any other Advertiser at the same time. The only thing is that the Google Adsense policies [ https://google.com/adsense/policies ] forbid Excessive advertising
Actually you can't use contextual ads on the same page (and it is on a page by page basis) so turn off the contextual feature if their are already AdSense ads on the same page.
you can use chitika search with adsense. Check my post here http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=396980&postcount=50
Guess must turn off chitikas "search" on SITES were you have google search. 2 reasons for this Google search services, this would include other search services on the same site and non-Google query-targeted ads. by https://google.com/adsense/policies and http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=20403&page=2 Arnie`s post
Agree with you its not a search services but Chitika search its not a query-targeted ads ? In tos and that reply from google they say search services or query-targeted ads
you have a point here, please refer to the WMW thread that I'd included in the links on my post...it could be better if we ask google directly about this..
You are right. I know that I read somewhere that it is not allowed to have both search, but that is outdated. Here is page with some interesting info. gotgoodlist. com/2005/10/09/chitika-tips-tricks-and-hacking-guide/
