Chinese Wholsalers

I have noticed an increase in people using Chinese wholesale companies. More and more people are setting up an Ebay business and making tremendous amounts of money on Ebay.

Does anyone know any good wholesalers from China? Has the chinese wholesale market gone saturated?

 

It's also very overcrowded unless you find a nice quality supplier and something new or at least different product...

ps. watch out for scam....

 

what kind of products are you looking for this time. We have been working with some good IMPORT/EXPORT firms....

they dont look like cheap electronics.

 

I import from Asia and sell on ebay. Not a lot anymore, but I use to do it full time.

about 5 years ago I was really into computer modding. This was back when you had to actually cut a window in your case and then put in a neon light or cold cathode...now you can just buy them. Anyhow, I started to import cold cathodes and EL wire from Asia. Incredible cheap and easy. there were a few website I look at to find cold cathodes such as alibaba.com. Coldcathodes were pretty easy to find since I knew there where no cheap american producers. I was really worried about shipping, and money transfer, but I was amazed how easy it was. Of course, the company spoke english and all shipping was handled by air freight and all money transfer was done via bank of america wire...

I had no experience and was able to import lights for around $2 each and then sell them on Ebay for around $20 each...for about a month. The bad thing about Ebay, is everyone can see what you are doing and can copy you in a matter of days or weeks. SO my $20 cash cow quickly dropped to $5 per light...still making profit, but nothing like before...

BTW, if you are going to sell stuff on Ebay, do not sell stuff made out of glass. It breaks a lot, stick with easy shipping stuff.

Bottom line, use alibaba.com to find the companies, and try to get low quantities, but know that a good thing will only last for a few months so don't over import.

Also I would stay away from technology products...they change to fast. You will probably have to import at least 100 (probably closer to 1000) mp4 players. you will have to sell at least 20 a day to move the products. 1000/20 = 50 days. You will have to reorder at about 30 days to get the next shipment in time.

Most things on eBay are from China now, well most electronics so it's hard to compete and like it has been said people copy you in an instant, which makes sense as its almost perfect competition!

I am not looking for electronics. I want cheap clothes ; I don't care if their fake or not, I just want it for me to wear. I don't go out shopping thats why I want to buy some clothes from online.

 

Buying retail from China would probably not be that much cheaper for clothes. Shipping rates are very expensive..

 

have you heard US govt, found Lead and other harmful substance with china products, especially in PLASTIC they used in TOYS, and MP3/4 Players. they are going to ban; NO IMPORT. so this is advicable to check that with your local custom house. Will you have the clearance for those products or not..... This is important for both importer and exporter..... i'll be posting the complete information pretty soon here at DP......

 

To make serious money it's not as easy as one two three. There is alot to it.

Never said you were, the price you pay for delivery + tax in the end could be double what you can get it for in your own country, if you want to make a stupid decision then go ahead.

More a publicity stunt for the US to protect it's markets?
