Ok so i have an idea for a product made of plastic its only small and would be very easy to manufacture.However i obviously cannot buy a factory and all the equipment to make it.So i was wondering how i would go about getting it produced in china.Is there any websites any one can link me too or can anyone give me some advice on this matter. cost are cheap per unit in china but initial mold costs can still be high ..depends on qty you want produced as to wether the overll costs work out if the mold costs $1500 , but you ony want 20 it oes makes sense , but you want 10,000 ..you end up with a decent overall cost price PM meif you have any question PAUL

Why do you think you must have it produced in a country halfway across the world? Good luck finding a place that will do less than a container load.
Why china half way across the world,chinas going through an industrial revolution and its ppf is ever expanding.Its the cheapest place to make them with the best technnology.Thats why but if anyone can suggest anywhere else then please tell me
IF your selling the stuff in China fine... But if your exporting it back to the US well... Everyone seems to forget that time is money and inventory is money and those can start to out-weight the cheaper cost per piece. If you source halfway across the world your going to have to deal in huge volumes (container load), carry larger inventories than neccesary and its going to take time for the boat to make it across the ocean.
