Chinese langulage indexed in Google

I recently purchased a domain name in Chinese. It gave me weird url code like "dxygw84dt.com". It's really hard to remember the domain name if you don't know how to type Chinese characters. So I purchased another domain in English. Now I want to use 301redirect from one domain to the other. Ultimately, I care more about PageRank etc. for the Chinese site.

So should I focus SEO on the Chinese site or the English site? If I should focus on the Chinese site, then will google take the Chinese keywords?

Of course, Google would index page contents in Chinese. But, I also think if the niche of your site is in China, you might want to rank for Baidu since it is the biggest Chinese search engine.

    Have a nice day,

I would recommend you focus on your current website instead of get a new one in Chinese oriented as replacement. You can got pagerank and link popularity to being transferred via 301 redirect but it does take times. Your current ranking (if any) would be fallen for a period of times before the transfer process finished. It won't worth enough in my opinion.

However i don't recommend to you to redirect your old domain to new one, but you can use of 301 redirect to help you save your current pagerank.

it doesn't matter where you focused since you are going to use permanent redirection..

Maintain the one that is more appropriate or important according to the information or services your have.. Better too if you have pages of both languages if you target both...
