The thing is Africa accepted Chinese aid and then when they got a mining industry going sold their products to the US and the EU and told China to GTFO . Major lulz was in the economic and political press . As for Paki's dreams of lap doggism they are well known , unfortunately I can't see a peaceful end to this anytime soon .
I was in Perth over the weekend, where they are doing massive exporting of natural resources to China. If you have the money, you can get the resources. Natural resources are definitely not required for economic success -- look at Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Alternatively, Africa is covered with natural resources and it's a hellhole. Success is all about sound economic policies. Let's look at the results of those sound economic policies, in terms of per capita GDP: Switzerland: $63,536 Demark: $56,263 Ireland: $49,863 Netherlands: $48,209 Singapore: $36,379 Hong Kong: $29,803 Taiwan: $16,372 China: $3,735 Welcome to "the Chinese miracle" -- which consists solely of saving money while barely avoiding starvation.
Yes, isn't it ironic that the majority British & American owned mining companies here are selling off our resources to China. The last PM did try to fix that situation but they outed him pretty quick and replaced him with a more miner-friendly PM.
Actually there are plenty of ppl starving in China but the Golden Shield protects them . The tigers & dragons succeed because they where small trade hubs . It's far easier for 10.000.000 ppl to get stinking rich then it is for 1.3 billion people to get a car . Resources are the foundation of the economy and the efficiency of usage leads to prosperity . The issue is far to complex to resume in a few words . But nevertheless China will never be a superpower .
I doubt that China can rule the world in the next few decades. It is more likely to be a tripod power structure with USA, China and India being the superpowers and maybe Russia.
China also seems noticeably disinterested in ruling the world. Aside from an enormous backlash of national anger which could occur when the U.S. government defaults on it's debt or inflates it into meaninglessness, the Chinese tend to see non-Chinese as mainly either sources of raw materials or customers for cheap plastic shit. Outside of Taiwan and Tibet, the Chinese don't appear to have much in the way of territorial ambitions. It seems that they have very little interest in non-yellow people. Heck, they haven't even taken over North Korea -- which they could do any time they wished.
I think that's the main point here and I agree completely. I don't think they're interested either. If anything they're trying to reduce their population, not grow it.
Hard to believe when 90% of China's people still live in huts and grow rice to live off of... I'll believe it, when China passes a law to raise the minimum wage to 9+ dollars an hour, instead or the normal 2 dollars per day....
You are ignorant, 70% of Chinese are middle class with living standards at par with developed countries. You are just an overpatriotic fool.
Dude why are you always trolling all my post's??? still mad I called you a clown a few weeks ago? lol let it go, its not that serious Anyways, what does your ignorant behind consider middle class? 5k/year? 6k/year?
I think DP servers might crash considering the amount of searches I'm making for your posts each second.
Well you replied to, two of my comments on two different threads in the last couple hours alone, So if that's not stalking then I don't know what is... Quit being so bitter, I'm sure it's not the first time someone called you a clown, and sure as hell won't be the last Update: You wrote this on another thread as I was reading this one lol and you're not stalking me? lol Anyways I will be starting a thread soon, so you can stalk me there lol
I have subscribed to this whole forum and to 75% threads individually, so I can;t help but see your silly posts. Now don't flatter yourself so much.
Demographics are not on China's side thanks to their brilliant one-child policy. A majority of the population will start ageing in the next 5-10 years. And if the US defaults on its debt, then the story will be vastly different.
