I'm not from China but I'm a follower of John Chow and I Have followed his advertising campaign on Bidvertiser and much of his ads are showing on Asia (China included). You could also try Adwords because he is also using it and they also serve to china residents.

Keep in mind it is RMB, so divide it by 7. And China has a lot of traffic, so it just might be worth it.
www.baidu.com is the Chinese Search engine you can search on there and visit some chinese website and see what adversitising those sites are using. But since its chinese and your international and you probably don't speak chinese you may not beable to get payed or understand there Terms of service and various things. It would be hard to use becuase the language barrier

If my prediction is rite, it mean china advertiser pay too much in Ad cost, it's not good for the consumers. I have been advertising on the major chinese ppc platforms: 1) Baidu PPC is the dominant role Baidu has more than 70% market shares in term of search and PPC market, even before google leave China, our Baidu PPC campaign drive 3 to 5 more traffic than google campaign. 2) Google PPC is a google supplementary platform to baidu The search volume is not on a par with baidu, but the quality is good 3) Alibaba PPC The leading trade portal alibaba has introduced PPC program to their Chinese trustpass members. According to our experience, Alibaba PPC campaign has a far better ROI than baidu PPC, needless to mention other platforms. 4) Alimama PPC It is just a waste of money and time. we have thrown 1000USD to test the water. more than 70,000 clicks no conversion.
