Does it bother anyone else how the child support laws work?

I'm not talking about the fathers who don't pay - I'm talking about the ones who are paying so much they can't afford to eat or pay rent why their ex-wives are going on vacation with the money he's forced to pay.

And what about the rich people, who ended up being ordered to pay $10,000/month or so for child support... how rediculous is that? Who actually spends $10,000 month on a child, little lone have a court ORDER you to pay that much...

The people that run our government want to break up and destroy families. When you destroy the family, you weaken the community. When you weaken the community, you weaken the country.

It works excellent for the NWO. First the fathers become poor and destitute due to not being able to make their expensive payments.

The mother is given more money than necessary, and may use it for her own purposes instead of those of her children. Then the children grow up and hate both their father and mother.

This is what destroys societies. It is also one good reason why I hire escorts instead of chasing women and trying to get a girlfriend. You don't have to worry about getting her pregnant and being forced to pay everything you have by the state.

Sounds like someone that has never had his wife leave him for another man, lose his custody battle because of the legal systems bias towards the mother, and then be required to pay a large percentage of his income in child support.

    Absolutely.

And I admit, that's why it doesn't bother me.

Unfortunately people that have gone through what you mention are paying the price for the many other shithead dad's that ignored their actual responsibilities.

if anything, child support laws are too lax. If you are a "deadbeat" and fail to pay, you can barely even be brought back into court for it. Takes forever for the system to work thru the process. In the mean time, single mothers may be forced to live off the government (our) money till they start to get some money out of the father (or absent mother, wahtever the case may be).

I've been seperated for 4 years, there has never been a court order regarding child support for my daughter. I love sending her money, I just don't like how my ex spends it sometimes.

I don't know. When I was much younger my aunt/uncle divorced after having two kids.

My aunt got "custody" (4 days a week) and my uncle had to pay her nearly everything he made. Why he spent more than a decade way below poverty line because he was forced to pay her everything, she was taking vacations every year to hawaii, bahamas, etc.

Albert Belle was on the Sox for a while.

We noticed that he played better on nights that he beat his wife.

Child Support Laws vary from state to state. The system is usually set up to be simple and uniforum. Usually, its based upon a percentage of salary.

For example, in Illinois, child support is a precentage of take home pay. the percentage is based upon how many children. 1 child is 20%, 2 is 25%, 3 is 30%, etc.

So if you make $50k a year, and pay 30% in taxes, your take home is 700 a week. 1 child would mean you would pay $140 of that.

This is true whether you make $20k a year for $200k a year. Most states have a similar forumula.

Personally, I dont agree with it. I think money and the ability to provide should be a factor in custody determinations. Maybe more people would stay married if we didnt enable them.
