Chihuahua Information Website

Great niche subject, very profitable with lots of opportunities to make money.
Selling only because of a lack of time to spend updating and improving the site.
Website is running on static HTML and contains all unique content.

Earns money from Amazon affiliate program, eBay affiliate program, Adsense and as an affiliate through a Chihuahua shop (see my link here - http://shop.chihuahua-information.com/).
Did have clickbank chihuahua program link but this wasn't converting great in my opinion so removed it.


Recommendations:

Convert to CMS for easier management and more opportunities as well as a nicer design perhaps.
Remove top adsense adverts due to their "above the fold" issues.
Create more affiliate links to the shop and promote the shop more.
Create a newsletter.
Carry on updating the Facebook page (included with sale - https://www.facebook.com/pages/Chihuahua-Fans/349431778438329). On this page you can add pictures and products and run an advert on Facebook (spend $100 and get thousands of likes) then whilst adding cute chihuahua pictures add your own links to the affiliate products to buy chihuahua accessories).

This last recommendation is a great way to make money from this site.

I've added a screenshot which shows the affiliate earnings from the Urban Pup affiliate program. I've earned over £110 simply from linking to the shop as if it were a page on Chihuahua-Information, only from the sidebar menu. All you need to do to set this up is to open a free affiliate account with Urban Pup and then upload your banner (optional) and the site is setup ready for you to use.

At the moment this site is selling incredibly low, it has 20 pages of unique content and backlinks, site age and more. So many ways you could monetize the site and improve it.

 

Had a PM asking about the affiliate program earnings (Urban Pup) and Amazon. I've not looked at Amazon yet but I think the earnings are pretty low. But since I've been using the Urban Pup affiliate program I've earned £110.36 - about $177.

I assume you've tried adsense on the site? If so, how did that work out? Was the site banned from adsense or do you just prefer affiliate earnings?
