That's the bit I don't get, but to be honest when I first noticed you had a female avatar, I did check out your profile and your blog from DP lol

Women won't cease to be attractive, because there are varying levels of what men find "attractive" about them. Sex sells, period.

 

It is such a cruel, cruel world we live in. No matter how hard we try to resist men can be suckered by a pretty face.

I think a paper bag over their head would be more distracting than just looking at them.

 

Maybe this is why Islamic women are really supposed to wear head scarfs. It isn't to protect women, but to give men a fighting chance of keeping control of their senses.

Hmmm... in Western society who is the true victim of the objectifying of women? Is it really the women or the poor men who get suckered into buying things or doing things they wouldn't buy or be interested in if they had full control of their senses?

The system is less than perfect. It's much less distracting than the hockey mask, but I'm still considering alternatives.

If that were the case with head scarves these guys need to get a grip. People should wear what they want and be judged on an individual basis.

The true victims of the objectification of women are the women who don't want to be objectified. Men are the victim of their own lack of self-control. I guess you could say everyone is a victim of nature, but we're all responsible for our own actions.

Some people use their looks to the fullest extent to manipulate and deceive others, but that's just mean. Showing a pretty face to sell a product is appealing to desire but not necessarily manipulating anyone.

 

Leave it to someone to take me way too seriously.

This isn't a political debate and my comments shouldn't have been read as an opening to turn this into a political discussion. It was nothing more than some light hearted jests at two extreme sides of an issue.
