Nice domain. I like it (and I like playing chess). :)

I don't know how to set up an auto blog, but I believe you can find someone here on the forums who will make it for you. Just try posting somewhere in the Buy, Sell or Trade section.

ChessManual.com shall be a site with chess rules = chess manual - a complete guide on how to play chess. That shall be the major content of the site in my opinion, as of it's name.

Another great idea would be selling books or ebooks with chess rules. ;)

But of course it wouldn't be bad to add a kind of "play chess online" application or perhaps just add links to sites where you can play free chess online - e.g. Yahoo Chess.

    Good luck with the domain!

    Yea if you did this
    1) chess rules and strategies
    2) chess forum
    3) selling a chess ebook you could have a chess player write
    4) Maybe add a multiplayer chess game?

Just ideas... I think the 4th one would be pretty cool though

    Thanks
    Mike

I agree with dopiitv... definately numbers 1), 2) and 4).
the multiplayer chess game will be expensive to build from scratch though.

Best way to start off the site would be to just create an actual chess manual with instructions and guidelines (you can get this written by someone who is experienced). Then monetize your site via adsense and affiliate links.

You can also promote it via social bookmarking sites and link exchange with similar sites.

After finishing the first stages of your site, you can expand your site by adding a community (like someone said: a forum) and then to more chess related articles and news.

It's a good memorable domain and high potential :)

You should start reading some chess books or manuals and might as well learn chess yourself :D It will be mush easy to manage the site in that case.
