Is there a better way to tell when a site was created then using the wayback machine?

    http://www.archive.org/web/web.php

also, how can i tell how long a site is registered for? when the registration began, ends, etc.

    thanks.

A simple whois lookup should provide all that information for you.

Go to whois.sc, enter the domain and you will get a lot of useful information.
At archive.org you can see some of the pages that were up on that domain at some times in the past.

Type "whois" in google. You should be able to figure it out from there.
