checking or saving account for paypal

    Hello,
    I wanted to know which bank account it is recommended to link to paypal: checking or saving account ?
    I can explain what a "checking account" ?

    I don't think it matters, however, I would recommend checking account, leave your saving account for saving money.

    I am not sure what checking account is.... but as far as I am aware, you can use any valid bank account... whatever may be it's type.
    It does not make any difference to the way you would be able to use your Paypal! :)

    Any bank that offers you an IFSC code is fine.

    You can use either of the bank account for withdrawing funds from your PayPal account. till the time name on the bank account is same as name on the PayPal account.

    My bank account attached to paypal is savings a/c and it shows checking a/c in paypal when i withdraw funds. So, whats checking a/c?

    I'm from latin america.
    I do not know that it is an account "checking account", so they may ask the question.
    Maybe some American citizen can give us the answer.

    In the early days when I was new on Paypal , the status of my bank account was checking but now after 6m it is turned in current account from paypal.

    Both can be attached but most of the people attach checking account. As they usually have to make more transactions from this account.

    Definitely your checking account...I am pretty sure that you have to enter routing numbers and account numbers found on your CHECKS...either way your fungible funds should be in your checking account.
