Checking links and one tried to download a virus/trojan

    me myself I use avg plus right now have a trial of norton but I also go online to kaspersky and a couple of others along with using spybot search and destroy and adaware

    Be careful with Norton jiminscoe, it doesn't show up half as much as kapersky, we stopped using it because of that.

    I am using norton 360, you guys think I must get something else? Whats the best one to be safe from virus, trojan and spyware? :)

    I was referring to Norton 10 if that's any help humm, its rubbish, it never caught half of what it should have. Kapersky paid version is the nuts as far as I'm concerned.

    You won't ever beat an Industry strength AV package humm but these are out of the range of most. The best out of the box from my experience is Kapersky, its come on leaps and bounds and has 100% caught virus's and Trojans that others have missed.

    I use AVG free edition, cause it seems to put the least load on my system, out of the ones I have tried at least. Also the detection rate is quite good.
