Google does that for you. So don't worry, about that.

We have been using the earlier version of Click Sentinel:
    http://www.clicksentinel.com/

And we have found Google to be extemely good at not counting multiple clicks from the same IP address. Where it is useful is discovering which broad/phrase keywords are causing clicks - something Google's search query report only partially does.

is that for adwords or adsense? Cos if it is for adsense i think google would just disable your account!

you can never check IP address of Click..but you can get invalid report from Adwords Reporting tool...

If you get visitor from Google you can store cookie.. in users computer,.... if you can have that kind of technology...

What do you mean by "ip addresses that pop up unnaturally"? If you're talking about a single IP or IP range constantly clicking on your ad, Google already protects against this & won't charge you for the clicks. Don't worry...

G will filter repeated clicks from the same IP address, you can run a report to see these.

This is simply not true!!! if you think there is something else going on and have analytics enabled, just search your web logs for "gclid" that will jump you through the log to each click so you can see the IP's, time and which pages they viewed.
