It says that my sites will drop from PR5 to PR2, so I am going to take a deep breath and make a mental note not to believe the PR prediction scripts.

So what scripts do you suggest :)?

Actually, I have a couple sites that it seemed to be right about. These programs do have a system for rating so perhaps under (few) circumstances it can be right just not too often would these circumstances be right. Of course yet, I just assume these answers will be correct because it's normaly what happens with my sites, I'm just guessing.

LOL... ok it use to say it was PR 5, then it said it was PR4, and now... after a few weeks it says "Unknown" like as if it predicts i'll stay PR0... yeah ok...

I've also noticed that all the datacenters are wierd in google. One of them was saying i would be ranked so well and everything was different from google.com and then suddenly, all the DCs are the same again.... This stuff is really dumb.

Normaly they are wrong, but the accurate ones are probably just right by random chance.

If you would've read the entire thread you would have known that for most people this tool is inaccurate.

Even more important - The world will still exist the day you get a PR3. It won't be like your website will get less visitors overnight or something.

Gee, I really wish people wouldn't whine about stuff they actually never even have tried to understand.

Actually the whine was a sarcastic joke. IE: Humor. I already figured it was probably not accurate. Even if it did go down, I'd have to admit its my own fault for fooling around with a bunch of new content... Relax

In that case, sorry, no offense.

It's just that we've seen people saying something like you do who actually did mean it, so forgive me for believing :D

There are no end of ways that we can make a success/hash of things and Google can revise its algos. You can probably predict it yourself more accurately if you know what you are doing!
