Hello, as I am abroad I wanted to visit a site on which banners for my website should be displayed. Instead of this, ads in the language of the country in which I was were displayed (so far no surprise). I first thought that using a web proxy from my country will be enough, after a quick googling I haven't found one that would display ads or that would display the ads of the country it was located in. I tought "no problem, I'll just use a traditional proxy server instead", so, google, proxy list and the same problem was facing me: either were ads blocked or they were in some crazy language I didn't even know that it even exists... So I thought "ok I'll just put a proxy script on a server I am hosting in my country and then it should be ok", I tried glype and got only ads in indian. So, I thought that as the display of ads could be influenced by the infos my browser is sending to the server when I surf, I'll just trick it to think that I am using different user agents. I just downloaded the add on for firefox user agent switcher, changed the en-EN with the language of my country and still it doesn't work (I think it may be because the server might use infos about my OS or my location but I don't know) So I wanted to ask if you guys ever faced the same issue of if you have tricks to avoid this kind of problems.
