I use yahoo site explorer to check my backlinks and have noticed that with no effort, my site is growing by about 100 or more backlinks per day. Yahoo only shows you the total number of backlinks be it 1000, 1100, 1200, etc. Is there any way to see what were the backlinks that yahoo (or other SE) indexed in the last 24 hours. I would like to see where these 100 or so links are coming from on a daily basis.
You might want to try google webmaster tools. The only way I can think of finding out 'indexed' backlinks in 24 hours is to download the results at the interval of 24 hours and comparing them
Go to http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/ and type the website e.g. http://forums.digitalpoint.com in the search box. You can see the indexed pages and backlinks. Do not forget to put 'http://' in the website URL. I hope that helps
Yep, all of these tools are great, and will give you varying results. As long as they keep growing, I'm happy.
I have some backlinks form relevant websites but the above mentioned checkers show zero backlinks by google and yahoo.
