    Quick question:

When i am checking for backlinks in MSN for my site

link:www.centexsocalcoastal.com It shows me 552 results

But when i go to page 5, the number of links drops to 24. Do you know why?

So can someone tell me how many inbound links this site gets?

    Thanks

The same thing happens to me, but I don't know why.

I find Yahoo's Site Explorer to be more reliable. It also lets you download your backlinks (or someone else's!) as an Excel spreadsheet.

    Handy, to say the least.

    Here's the link: http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/

When you click on "inlinks" be sure to use the dropdowns for "except from this domain" and "to entire site." This will give you a good idea of the domains linking to your website. Of course, there's a lag time of a week or so ... so brand new links won't show for a while.

    Good luck.
