Hello everyone, HeadLine News announced last night that banking customers will soon be able to scan checks from home and upload them into their accounts for deposit. The technology, called remote deposit capture, has been around for a couple of years but has only been used by companies and financial institutions. No banks have signed on to this technology yet but I forsee it being another part of everyday internet banking in the coming years, just like internet bill pay. I personally love the idea. Now I can just scan and deposit all my affiliate checks, adsense, cj and others, without having to drive 15 minutes to my bank... I'm excited and hope my bank offers it soon, or I may change banks. Here are a couple articles I found about Check Free Banking: http://www.twincities.com/ci_8184889?source=most_emailed http://www.internetnews.com/ec-news/article.php/3659901 In light of this recent news I've registered : Check Free Banking .com Check Upload .com What do you think? Am I wasting money or staying ahead of the pack?
yeh could be a good idea as all these things it all depends on their fraud protection any thoughts as to what you will do with the sites
For now I was just going to park them as I have alot on my plate already. But I think a blog would work well, a blog that lists all the banks that offer check free banking.
I just got a couple affiliate checks in the mail.. But I don't feel like driving to my bank Man-O-Man I wish they would hurry up an implement this service so my lazy butt didn't have to drive 15 miles to deposit a couple checks.
