Suggestion Checkbox Moderation?

    Hello,
I was looking around the options in my profile and I wasn't able to find a option to get the checkbox moderation activated for my profile so that I can unsubscribe to a few unwanted threads and not receive updates. I would like to do this on a mass level and so wish to have it activated for my profile.

    - If this is already present, could you point it out to me?
    - If not, then please activate it or just do the settings in my profile as a mod/admin or whomsoever so that I can do the stuff I want to.

    Regards,
    FLAMER

Can you post a screenshot of what you are talking about from whatever other forums have it?

Yeah, I think that's a SMF thing. Ask again after we are on vBulletin 4.0. I'm not making major changes to the default guts of vBulletin at this point since 4.0 is so close.

There might be a mod to do it. It is actually highly useful if you can put it up.

    - I'll just hijack this topic myself for another suggestion.

Is there a way to ignore the boards within vbulletin as not everyone is interested in every board.

As per user settings, it should not show updates from that board in "New Threads" or "New Posts". If possible, also in the "Spy" zone.

It will help us to remove all the unwanted things that we aren't really interested in looking into ?

You can't blacklist certain boards, but you can whitelist the sections you want by subscribing to the forum. Then you can show new threads or new posts for just the forums you are interested in as well as only showing Spy stuff for those forums.

So Like I subscribe to the whole board and have the button of "Show the Spy stuff only from the subscribed boards" ?

Seems fair enough. I'll ping you back in after vb4 upgrade i suppose for the moderation checkbox. :)
