We have just had a rather interesting conversation with Vodaphone UK. Our bills arrived today and in our routine inspection of the itemised bills we noticed anomalies in the charges levied for texts to the same number. Strange. On contacting Vodaphone we were told that they had encountered problems with this months billing. They assured us that all accounts on the FREE TEXT plans for 100, 250 & 500 texts were being checked again but I was very much of the impression that this possibly may not be the case. Certainly the operator we spoke to didn't seem to have all the answers to our questions at hand. If your with Vodaphone in the UK I strongly advise that you check your bills extra carefully this month and either call them about any discrepancies or keep a careful look out for any amendments to your account. We were told that this would be in the form of either a letter, a text or just an amendment on the next bill - they were not sure yet! Cheers Hopper
Further to my post last month about my Vodaphone UK Bill, I have just checked this months and guess what? Vodaphone have overcharged me on the 1 out of 6 phone bills I have checked so far by £23:40 ($40+). I have spoken to them about this and they have accepted that they STILL have a problem with their billing software and are trying hard to rectify the situation. They have issued me with a credit for £23:40 on this phone. PLEASE check your VODAPHONE bills this month, they have admitted (most worryingly) that the fault is now a random fault and not a 'global' fault as it was last month.
