I checked my account and notice my payment for December 2010 earnings was issued on January 26th but as of today (Feb 4th), I have not received the check. It is issued from the Buffalo, NY office and now curious if this:

#1. Is this currently happening to anyone else?
#2. To what email contact address would I write, and to whom?

    Any help appreciated.

you need to wait 25 days before you can request a reissue. It will probably arrive, give it some more time.

I agree with the others, it's much too soon to panic. I know how you feel, it's always exciting to get my Google cheque!

I finally received my December 2010 payment on February 7th, 2011. It was issued on 1-26, so it took 12 days to get here. Pretty slow, considering it only takes me 5 days to get mail from London, UK! I am located in the upper midwest of states (near Canada)....but to have to wait almost 2 weeks for an envelope to travel from Buffalo, NY to upper midwest is a bit frustrating. Anyway, it did finally arrive. I've made a note of it for sure!

12 days is not abnormal for a company cheque. In a big company, a payment may be issued one day but that doesn't mean the cheque is printed on that day, and once it is, it may not get to the mailroom for a week.

I'm in Canada and my Google cheques usually take about two weeks to arrive. I get books from Amazon.com in half that time!

thanks greenhome . . interesting about Amazon. However, my particular check is dated january 26th and the envelope if postmarked January 26th. So this is why I was concerned and find it strange.

Re the postmark, big companies have their own postmarking machines too. So the letter probably sat there, at Google, all tht time. No reason why the post office would hold on to our Google cheques and not other mail, really.
