How can i check to see if a site was ever banned by google. I recently bought a domain name through normal registration, google has been spidering the site , I've got a google site map, a few links to it are showing up on google but the site isn't indexed yet. I did some searching around and found that the site was previously registered. I am just concerned that it may hae been banned.
type your URL/domain at GOOGLE and you'll see if your site really ban. If your site is new, maybe google didnt crawl all your page.. I suggest submit your site to highPR directories ,,,, and patient is all you need. Cheers!
i'm also afriad this has happened to me, my site's been up since January and although google downloads my sitemap several times a day, there's still no sign of the site in its index. It's not even collecting backlinks for it!

I've been doing that for a week.. How long "can" it take for a site that has been crawled regularly, has a google sitemap in place has a number of back links to it, to show up in google? The site has been in MSN for about a week. Recently all the sites I've launched have been in google within 2 days thats why i am getting worried about this one!
