Check Stopping On Its Own

I am having a problem with the tracker checking my keyworks. When I click on 'Check All' it tells me I have 1082 keywords to check and it has the refresh link. However when I click on the refresh link, even after a couple of minutes, the line with my number of keywords remaining to check disappears. The check never fully finishes unless I have all day to hit refresh and then check all then refresh again. I never had this problem before, why would it happen now?

Probably you ran out of queries for the day. If you click a single keyword manually, what error (in red) does it give?

I clicked on a single keyword and got this:

Exception from service object: Daily limit of 1000 queries exceeded

This is the first time I've seen it but I'm glad I did so now I can eliminate a few words to get under the limit.

I'm getting the same thing. It's only checking one at a time and then I have to start again.

When I do the single check it is telling me the daily limit has been broken. I only have about 70 KWs to check...?

I have not used any other tools and have not run a check since the 20th.

How deep are you checking (under settings)?

    200. But I never had a problem with it before. I usually use it once or twice per week. I just counted the KWs - there is actually 89.

But the API doesn't work per position does it? Just per inquery?

BTW Shawn, It's a great tool and I'm not trying to complain about something that is free. This is just something I thought you should know about...

I know you're not complaining (and even if you were, no biggie). :)

It's going to depend on how many N/A keywords you have most likely. Each "N/A" will take 20 queries (since the Google API can only return 10 results per query).

There is some detailed info on how many queries are being used in the FAQ (#22):

You don't need to worry about deleting keywords to get through them all. The system will automatically check the ones that haven't been checked the longest... so it ends up cycling around keywords (for example if you only have enough API queries to get half your results, it could check each keyword every other day).

Other options would be to lower how deep you want to check, or temporarily disable some of your keywords (until you know the rankings come back).
