Check sent before 20 Days, Not received yet, What do I do?

    CJ Sent me a check for nearly $200 on 20-Nov-2006. I have not yet received. Eventhough indian postal system is slow, it wouldn't be this late...

    Have I lost the money! :confused:

    You cab use FedEx service.But they will charge 70 $ for that. and u can ask them to reissue your check they will take 25 $ for this.

    I cant afford for FedEx, but are you sure they charge $25 for re-issuing a check? It seems so costly! :(

    Yup, $25. Same thing happaned to me once. I switched to direct deposit since then.

    I have another idea, I can ask them to cancel the check and instead of re-issuing it they can add the amount to the next check and send me a bigger check instead. Is that possible?
