check out WidgetBucks

hi guys. i just ran into WidgetBucks the other day and gave it a try.

i made around 24$ in one and a half days with not that much traffic to my website. also you get 25$ at sign up and you can receive payment directly into your paypal account or by check.

please keep in mind that i was earning about 8$ from google for 220 click (around 0.04$ per click) and got 24$ from WidgetBucks for about 80 clicks (that's 0.3$ per click). i run an arcade website so google isn't much of an income source since google pays really poor for this niche.

thanks. my brother is earning quite some nice $$$ himself. i joined because google has a very low CPC for my niche. i have nothing against google. they pay just fine for other themes but not for gaming.

i have been using it for about a week now and I am very pleased with the payout, im not too pleased with the cp and all the changes and delays, but once they get that taken care of it will be even better. I get about .27 a click on average i think. I just need more traffic.

 

yeah. i get about 27-28 cents myself. anyway it's a great service. worth using it.

I've read about this and looked at the site and have seen some others stats. It seems that some people are earning some good figures with this when you work out your earnings per click on average.

 

Does Widgetbucks Pay for Clicks only or pay also for Impressions?

If I remember correctly, their terms state that they pay 45 days after the pay period ends, so I don't think they would be sending any payments at the moment.

 

it slows your site down significantly

 

I haven't noticed it slowing down site loading - yes, the widgets take a few seconds to load, but the rest of the page is displaying just fine, for me, at least.

Click through seem lower than I'd hoped for, but the price per click seems good so far.

 

really? I used the 728x90 ad and it took ages for the page to load, I wound up going back to Adsense just because of it...however I kept Widgetbucks on the home page, where there's less stuff. So far I got 2 clicks, one paid nothing (can't figure that one out) and another one, .10 cents.

 

So far, I've made $90 in just a couple days! My site is doing really well....hope they pay up!!

 

I only have widgetbucks on one site right now and that site is in its infantile stage still, so I don't expect any money just yet. However, it is a shopping site so widgetbucks fits right in with the theme. Once the site starts picking up I should see more income.

well my site loads ok. the widgets are loaded after my website is loaded so i don't see this as a problem

 

Do they have any system to check how many advertisers a keyword has?

Something like AdWords?
