    Hey All,

I came across this ebay listing for a web site for sale.
At this time the bid so far is $14,000.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ESTABLISHED-WEB...6QQihZ001QQcategoryZ46689QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

    The domains is domainvaluer.info
They claim to make $16,000 a month.
They are ranked number one in MSN (woo hoo) and they are selling that fact.

I looked up their whois and the domain was registered back in August. They have no backlinks nor PR.

It's crazy that people are believing this crap. That's an easy 14 grand.

did you read tha auction.. this text

    Established website business:

    · 115,000 hits since October with detailed proof. Much of this traffic is coming from our excellent search engine rankings – which are constantly improving and rising. Imagine the potential of this business when it is making $16,000 per month whilst still expanding.

    · Making sales everyday, infact the business has averaged 35-40 automated sales per day throughout the last month giving a solid monthly profit of $16,521 and that’s with just 1 sale for every 58 hits.

I feel sorry for whoever wins.

Could be that the seller used a lot of PPC advertising to get the profit and hits.

Now when the buyer takes over, they'll get the shaft.

yeah but someone's is going to buy it, poor sods !!

I have a great site that I am going to sell to them on ebay later, Heres my pitch:

Superior website for sale: Its so special thats its hidden from all the search engines on purpose because the whole world will want one if we unhide it. Send me $50,000 to and I will transfer it to you before every one else finds out about this site.

I am 101% sure that people bidding on that are 12 year olds who are just trying to learn how it works to bid on ebay and have registered an account with fake contact details just to "check out". Belive me no one in this world is stupid these days to give $16000 to someone if they dont know what they are doing and if they know what they are doing then they wouldnt buy it.

One of the most hardest thing to do is make people spend money

i wonder why they are selling it then, if its making so much money why not grow it more..
its easy to show revenues, but have they shown the expences which they bear to make this possible..
