I have just been browsing the forums, and noticed that there are a few 5 star threads out there. What I find amusing is that they are, like, maybe about selling a domain name or something equally as unstarworthy. Which makes me think that there are quite a few of you who go around and star up your own threads. So.. a few questions... Have you been guilty of rating your own thread? Do you pay attention to the ratings - like will a 5 star thread actually get your attention? Have you ever seen a 3 star thread.. lol - since no-body would give themselves a 3!!! Cindy
They actually do get my attention, but then if it is something that wouldn't interest me I'm not going to click on it. But yeah I agree that people probably rate their own threads, I think the whole idea is pretty useless anyway and wouldn't have it enabled on any forums of mine... about as useful as karma systems.
The title is what gets my attention, not the stars. They used to mean something when I was younger though.... p.l.u.r.
is there, like a limit to a person's patience? Like, if this thread had, like - 20 5star votes if I am ethically allowed to vote...
