I like the simple one we have now.

 

it's not bad giving us a better navigation sidebar IMO,

Colors are not good. Anyone trying new google themes, they are good.

how come it does for me.

here are steps you should follow:

1.go to google.com [not to your country domain]
2.then paste the java script code in the browser and hit enter
3.now reload the web page

you will now see it

let me know if it now works for you.i am sure it would.

 

You will need Firefox to make it work.

 

it works in chrome too but did not work for me in opera - wonder why.

I love the simplicity and the clean look of all Google services ..


Maybe it's one of the success factors ..


EDIT: checked the new design , I don't like the Blue buttons .. They just added a sidebar like in Bing (copy/paste) ..

PS: any method to get it back? at least before the update occurs ..

I don't like it at all, it's annoying ..

 

That one doesn't look too bad but I like the current one they have now.

 

Another simplicity lover here. I guess the sidebar is a bit inappropriate. I have opera for that.
