    I just got it today, I'm not trying to compeat with the big boys.
    I might just make it a little webmaster hub or something.

    I don't really think webmasters need a social network site to communicate, when we have boards like DP! but hey, good luck - I might be wrong :)

    Ignore the pessimists. There is 10 websites for absolutely everything you can think of. The challenge is being the best of those 10 and having more exposure than those 10.

    Decide on a niche and stick with it. If it develops well then register a new domain (perhaps based on the -pup idea - [photographypup] and market the new niche through your existing built site.)
