Nice blog, but you should add bottom margin for the slider... Your first post is too near with the slider

 

Nice design. My opinion is to put the sidebar outside the post area. But my opinion only

Seems a little busy... I like the blog roll, colors and the site is soft on the eyes but the side bars... maybe simplify a bit.
