Check out googles monopoly... It kills all search engines.. lol

If google was the only se. They can control the internet. Thats how bad a monopoly is. Also if google has no more competition they don't need to work as hard to impress us with newer technology. Their needs to be competition in the market for the economy to thrive and also for new advancements.

 

They'd become a monopoly if they bought out Yahoo though, right?

On one website, I get about 20% from live/msn. All my other websites have a 95% from Google, so I think it depends on the audience and content.

 

This can be easily solved. Just host your Server off u.s soil,move your company to anthor country.
Corporations don't hail to no flags.
If you ever watch the Documentry "the corporation" you would see this, big companies are sometime more powerfull the government and they can move to other countries. They hail to no flags or government, they become like their own entity deviod of law. It can very hard to break them apart.

Google is still the best.

 

No corporation is stronger than the govt. This I know for a fact. Also if they do move the company to another country but a u.s citizen still owns the company, then they will still get in trouble in the u.s.

 

A corporation is not a owned a person.
its controlled by a board of directors who work in the interest of the share holders.
the Share holders are the one who own the company.
Also under U.S and internation law a Corp. is classified as a human being.
Yes Wal-mart, Google, BurgerKing these are "people"

 

I always use google, never yahooo or other search engine....
simple interface is great interface...

 

microsoft can beat google in searches if they install their search in all their products
