Check Out Amazons Cool New Carousel Widget

I love widgets and the new Carousel Widget Amazon just launched is pretty cool! The affiliate widget features a new style of interactive display format that shows up to 10 products without taking up much real estate. If you choose a horizontal widget the products move around like a Carousel. If you select vertical placement which would work well for sidebars, it's called a Ferris Wheel and that's just how it moves.

 

Those aren't new, are they? I had a carousel widget on my blog several months ago.

They don't take up much space and the interface is really nice.

I didn't think they were new though.
